Resolution:
These switches accept Class H or K fuses as standard. Options include Class R fuses (field install Class R Fuse Kit HRK4060) and Class J fuses requires the field installed Class J Adaptor Kit H600J. With Class H or K fuses installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 10,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current. With Class R or J fuses and the appropriate fuse kit installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 200,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current.
NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
