General Duty Safety Switches

Resolution:
These switches accepts class H or K fuses as standard. For series F, options include class R fuses (field install class R fuse kit HRK1020) and class J fuses (field modify switch by moving the load base assemblies to altenate position marked in the enclosure). With class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10 kA available fault current. With class R or J fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100 kA available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
