EZM Metering
Resolution:
Generally, the EZM metering devices do NOT contain knockouts in the top endwall. For conduit entry into the top endwall, field punched holes will be required. Also, for conduit entry above live parts, installer MUST use UL listed raintight or liquidtight hubs and/or the appropriate conduit fittings.
NOTE: There are some EZM branch devices that have a fixed top endwall that contains knockouts, with a removeable drip hood mounted over the fixed top endwall. For indoor ONLY applications, the removeable drip hood can be removed to access the knockouts in the fixed top endwall. SEE THE CAD DRAWING FOR EACH SPECIFIC CATALOG NUMBER.
