What voltage is required to power the LU9GC3 Modbus splitter box?
Issue:
Is control voltage required for the LU9GC3 Modbus splitter box?

Product Line:
LU9GC3 Modbus splitter box

Environment:
Products sold and used in United States

Cause:
Control Supply

Resolution:
No. This device is strictly passive and pulls voltage from other source through the RJ45 cables.

**LU9GC3 is a Splitter which only allows for a Single Master, this is not equivalent to, and does not replace, the PXP3148, Port Expander, which Schneider Electric no longer offers.
Connecting an HMI and Modbus Communications to a Drive or Softstart which has only one Modbus Port, requires a Port Expander.
Alternatively, for Monitoring only, a TeSys T can be used.
