What is the difference between the door interlock plate and the door mounting plate for the Vario?
Issue:
What are the differences between part numbers KZ32 and KZ83?

Product Line:
Operating Mechanisms and Disconnect Switches

Environment:
Vario, UL 508 Motor Disconnect switches

Resolution:
KZ32, the door interlock plate provides for door interlocking. This mounts on the inside of the panel/cover and interlocks the handle on the door with the switch body so that the door can only be opened with the handle in the Off position.

KZ83 mounts on the outside of the panel/cover.  The door mounting plate will attach the handle operator to the door but does not provide the interlock option so the door can be opened even with the switch in the On position.
