The Matrix-UPS will operate within all standard specification ratings in a surrounding (or environmental) temperature range of 0°C to +40°C (+32°F to +104°F). The internal temperature limitation for the Matrix-UPS as reported through PowerChute plus software may be as high as +70°C (+158°F).
Please note that while the Matrix-UPS Electronics and Isolation units may operate in ambient temperatures up to 40C, the SmartCell and SmartCell XR battery systems should not be exposed to ambient temperatures above 30C. Ideally, batteries would be placed in an environment where temperatures never exceed 25C.
