What does the BRF fault mean on the ATV71 drives?

Issue:
ATV71 drive is getting brake feedback fault (BRF)

Environment:
All models, all serial numbers

Cause:
The brake feedback contact does not match the brake logic control.

Resolution:
This is a brake feedback fault. Check the brake logic control circuit and the feedback circuit.
This function is available under 1.7 Brake logic control submenu.
If BRH b2 is set to 0 the reference is enabled at the end of the brake release time.  If BRH b2 is set to 1 then the reference is enabled when the feedback from brake contact enables a logic input and at the end of the brake release time.
- check the feedback circuit and brake logic control.
- check the mechanical state of the brake.
