Issue:
Does Schneider Electric list the ATV32 maximum duty cycle of the braking transistor?
Product Line:
Altivar 32
Environment:
All models, All serial numbers.
Cause:
Application requiring a braking transistor's continuous use
Resolution:
The braking transistor in the ATV32 series drives is designed to handle Nominal motor power continuously and 150% of nominal motor power for 60 seconds.
An appropriately sized braking resistor must be used that is also capable of handling the required duty cycle.
