What is the maximum number of rack access cards that can be configured in a version 3 NetBotz appliance for use with the rack access pod 170?
Issue:

What is the maximum number of rack access HID cards that can be configured in a version 3 NetBotz appliance for use with the rack access pod 170?

Product Line:

NetBotz

Environment:

NetBotz version 3 appliances.
Version 4.0 BotzWare or higher
NBPD0170

Cause:

Rack access card limit.

Resolution:

Version 3 NetBotz appliances that work with the rack access pod 170 can store up to 200 unique rack access cards. This limit is the same if the appliance has a single door or is connected to multiple doors including other NetBotz appliances for card configuration under the "Rack Access System" applet in NetBotz Advanced View. Also be aware that all cards must be of the same format.

When using StruxureWare Data Center Expert to configure multiple NetBotz appliances, the limit in this system is also 200 cards and again all cards / devices being configured at the same time must be using the same card format.

Note: This is a separate function from the pod sharing functionality when connecting to an AP9361 rack access unit or when configuring the AP9361 directly. The AP9361 has a card limit of 20 cards.
