Users need to understand the power supply specifications and their impact on system design and communication line length.
Resolution:
The difference between ACE949 and ACE949-2 lies in the distributed power supply level transmitted over each SEPAM in parallel with the RS485 Modbus line:

- ACE949: 12 V DC
- ACE949-2: 12 V DC or 24 V DC
- Using 24 V DC increases the maximum length of the distributed power supply line, providing greater flexibility for installations requiring longer distances.
