What is the Syntax of the IN Parameter of the ADDM block used by M340 PLCs when communicating over Character Mode?

For addressing a device using the Character Mode protocol, the IN parameter takes one of these forms:

'r.m.c'
'r.m.c.SYS'

Where:

r — rack number
m — module position
c — channel number of the Character Mode port (0)
SYS — keyword stipulating the station server system; can be omitted
