Resolution

The direct replacement for the Magelis XBTGT6330 is the Harmony HMIGTO6310.

The HMIGTO6310 12.1" touchscreen HMI can be mounted directly where the XBTGT6330 used to be as there are no changes in enclosure cut-out dimensions.

Note the compatibility differences:

  • Connection to the Profibus DP, DeviceNet and CanOpen fieldbuses is not possible.
  • Only RS232 serial link is possible with COM1. Use COM2 with RJ45 connector for RS485 serial.
  • There is no alarm output or loudspeaker output
  • SD Cards should be used instead of CF Cards for data logging, alarm history, etc storage. (capacity up to 32Gb)

Other replacement options include:

1) For a higher IP protection rating:
HMIGTO6315 - identical to the HMIGTO6310, except with a stainless steel bezel for IP67K protection.

2) If alarm buzzer/speaker output is required:

Combination of one of three types of HMIGTU (CPU back module) + HMIDT642 (12.1" touchscreen which snaps on to the HMIGTU):

HMIG2U + HMIDT642

HMIG3U + HMIDT642

Note the compatibility differences:

  • Connection to the Profibus DP, DeviceNet and CANOpen fieldbuses is not possible.
  • Only RS485 serial link is possible with COM1. Use COM2 with RJ45 connector for RS232 serial.
  • SD Cards should be used instead of CF Cards for data logging, alarm history, etc storage. (capacity up to 32Gb)
