What causes the Altivar ATV28, ATV31 and ATV312 drives to show all 888's on the front display?
Issue:
ATV28, ATV31 and ATV312 showing 888's on the front display

Product line:
ATV28, ATV31, Altivar 28, and Altivar 31.

Environment:
All

Cause:
Failed drive.

Resolution:
If you see all 888's on the main display, try to first power cycle the drive to see if they will clear.
A factory reset may also be attempted to clear the status.
There could be an issue with the main control board.
If it will not clear than you may need to replace the drive.
