Issue:
How do we determine what the maximum number of TCP/IP connections we can use on an HMI running the Vijeo Designer Runtime?
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer Runtime, Magelis (XBTGT, XBTGK, XBTGH, HMISTO, HMISTU, HMIGTO, HMIGTU)
Resolution:
The maximum number of TCP/IP connections depends on the model of the HMI used. For all non-iPC Magelis HMIs programmed with Vijeo Designer, the maximum number of TCP/IP connections is 48. In other words, you can add upto 48 TCP/IP equipments at the I/O Manager for models such as XBTGT, HMIGTO, HMISTO, HMIGTU, HMISTU, and HMIG3U.
For iPC models and HMIG5U, the limit is 80.
