Issue:
Torque rating for the ATV630
Product Line:
ATV630
Environment:
All models and serial numbers
Cause:
None
Resolution:
110% of maximum continuous current for 60 secs for ATV600, with Dual Rating (5.2 menu)=Normal rating , 120% of maximum continuous current for 60 secs for ATV900 with Dual Rating=Normal rating.
150% of maximum continuous current for 60 secs for ATV 630 and ATV 930, with Dual Rating set to Heavy Duty.
The maximum torque of the drive, the more current we have, the more torque we have, but for this depends on :
For asynchronous motors: the torque performance is linked to the efficiency of the motor.
On permanent magnet motors: there is no over torque capability, 120% of over current will reach 120% of over torque (1.2).
For example with ATV71, its 165 % of over current we can reach 2.2 . Then with 120% of overcurrent we can reach 1.6 (but not with all motors).
