How to configure ATV312 for local/remote operation?
Issue:
Configure an ATV312 for local/remote operation.

Product Line:
Variable Frequency Drives

Environment:
Applies to ATV312

Cause:
Customer has a selector switch to change the reference for local and remote operations

Resolution:

Follow steps below to configure the local and remote channels and assign an input or command word or bit to switch between them

Go to CTL-
Set LAC = L3 (press and hold ENT for 2s)
Set FR1 = AI1 (or speed reference for channel 1)
Set CHCF = SEP
Set CD1 = TER (or command reference for channel 1)
Set FR2 = AI3 (or speed reference for channel 2)
Set RFC = LIx (input or command word to be used to switch between local and remote)
Set CCS = LIx (input or command word to be used to switch between local and remote)
Set CD2 =  TER (or command reference for channel 1)

Refer to the Programming manual in the link below page 30, 60 and 61 for the available options for FR1, FR2, CD1, CD2, CCS and RFC
