Video: How can you turn off the flashing red caution LED on the ATV630 and ATV930 process drives?
Issue:
Turning off the flashing red caution LED on the ATV630 and ATV930 process drives.

Product Line:
Altivar ATV630 and ATV930

Environment:
All

Cause:
There is a default alarm set in the warnings group for Analog input AI1, AI2, and AI3 that has to be turned off.

Resolution:
The warning LED is triggered when a Warning Group item is activated.  The factory default has many items selected for monitoring under Warning Group 1.  A typical warning is caused when an analog input is configured for 4-20mA, but the signal is not present.

From the Main menu:
  1. Scroll to Complete Settings and press OK
  2. Select Error Warning Handling and press OK
  3. Select Warnings Group Configuration and press OK
  4. Select Warn group 1 definition and press OK
  5. Now (almost halfway down the list) uncheck "AI1 4-20 Warning", "AI2 4-20 Warning", and "AI3 4- 20 Warning" boxes.

See attachment

Now the red flashing warning light will turn off.
