What is SOF on an ATV32 and ATV320 drives?

SOF fault on the ATV32 drives

Cause:
N/A

Resolution:
SOF is an overspeed fault typically caused by a load driving the motor to spin faster than the VFD is attempting to run it.

The motor may be turning when the drive gets a run command. Turn on Catch on the Fly (FLr=On)
Check the motor. gain and stability parameters
Add a braking resistor.
Check the size of the motor/drive/load.
Check the parameters settings for the FREQUENCY METER (F9F-) function if it is configured.
