Can the relays and digital outputs on the Process ATV600 / ATV900 series be controlled over the network?

Article available in these languages: Spanish

Issue:
Use Network Protocol to control Relays and Digital Onputs on the ATV600/900 Drives.

Product Line:
Process ATV600 ATV900

Environment:
All models

Cause:
NA

Resolution:
Yes.
The relays ( R1 / R2 / R3... ) and digital outputs ( DQ1 / DQ2... ) can be controlled from the network by writing to address 5212.  The relay or digital output assignment needs to be set to "Not Assigned".  If it is assigned to a function, then the network write on the corresponding bit will not affect it.  See the attached file.
