Issue
The Energy Cost and Load Profile reports require that data is logged to specific measurements to run. Additional measurements need to be manually added.

SQL Server Management Studio

Cause
The Energy Cost report has a list of possible measurements that it looks for when running the report. additional measurements can be added by editing the view directly in SQL Server Management Studio.

*Warning: Take backups of any files prior to modifying them. Ensure the backups are in a location that will not be overwritten (i.e. the Desktop).​

Resolution
In SQL Server Management Studio:

  1. Expand Databases, ION-Network, and Views.
  2. Right click on the dbo.vCFG_ConfigItems, and select Edit Top 200 Rows.
  3. Click on the Value column for EnergyCost_kWh, and expand the column.
  4. Double click on the field, and hit End key on the keyboard to go to the end of the field.
  5. Type the custom label string. Example: .my kwh del (Note: There is no space between the labels, and labels are separated using ".").
  6. Click on another field to save the change.
  7. Close dbo.vCFG_ConfigItems View. Collapse Views, ION_Network, and Databases.
