"NFPA 704: Standard System for the Identification of the Hazards of Materials for Emergency Response" is a standard maintained by the U.S.-based National Fire Protection Association. Some local jurisdictions require this information for all installed equipment

Resolution:

The NFPA Hazard Rating for non-spillable lead acid batteries is based on Sulfuric acid:

Flammability (Red) = 0
Health (Blue) = 3
Reactivity (Yellow) = 2  (Sulfuric acid is water-reactive if concentrated)
