How to re-launch PowerChute Network Shutdown CentOS 7, 8.1 Appliance initial setup menu
Issue:
Would like to re-launch the initial PowerChute Network Shutdown CentOS 7 Appliance setup.



Product Line:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4

Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4 Appliance installed on VMware ESXi
NOTE: The PowerChute v4.4 Appliance is CentOS 8.1 based.

Cause:
Need to re-launch the initial setup menu

Solution:
  1. Log in to the PowerChute VM as root
  2. Enter the command systemctl enable initial-setup.service
  3. Enter the command touch /.unconfigured
  4. Enter the command init 6
The VM will reboot and the initial setup menu will launch
