FGEN Function Block Status
- FGEN is obsolete in Control Expert and was not migrated to RemoteConnect Logic Editor or SCADAPack, as it originates from an outdated library.
- While still available as a standalone in Control Expert 16.2, it is not supported with RemoteConnect to avoid legacy practices.
Alternative
- Use a derived function block (shared for reference only) to generate random numbers.
