How to configure automatic variable timestamping on the BMENOP0300 module acting as a server
There are generally three ways to integrate the timestamp corresponding to a Data Object (DO) state change:

Automatic Timestamping
- The module automatically updates the timestamp value (Data Attribute "t") within the variable.
- This is only possible when the "t" attribute is not included in the module I/O Mapping.

Manual Timestamping
- The user manually writes the timestamp value into the Data Attribute "t" through the PLC application and the Device DDT.
- In this case, the "t" attribute must be included in the module I/O Mapping.

ERT Timestamp Module with SOE Functionality
- Timestamping can be managed through an ERT timestamp module using the Sequence of Events (SOE) feature.
- Refer to the product documentation for detailed implementation guidelines.
To enableautomatic timestamping, the Data Attribute "t" must not be mapped in the module I/O Mapping when operating in Server mode. This allows the module to manage and update the timestamp automatically whenever the Data Object changes state.
Consider the Data Object "AlmTOut":
- In the I/O Mapping, map only the "
stVal" attribute. - Do not map the "
t"attribute in the I/O Mapping.
3. In the corresponding report dataset, add the "
AlmTOut" Data Object and select both the "stVal" and "t" attributes. Including the t attribute in the dataset is required so that the timestamp is published when a report is generated.4. After inserting the Data Object with both attributes selected, the Attribute column may appear blank. This is normal and expected behavior:
