EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert is an open software platform that provides powerful features for the management of Remote Operations infrastructure. Alarms, Events and Historic data are collected by servers over varied distances and made available to local and remote users via integrated clients and data management applications.The SCADA host includes protocol drivers, a real-time database, historian, web server, advanced alarm features, and reporting. It can be used on-premises in data centers or in cloud environments.Geo SCADA systems are designed to run 24/7 with online configuration of communications and RTUs. Typical applications include upstream, pipelines, water networks and renewable energy. Geo SCADA Expert Licensing
Geo SCADA Expert servers are licensed by the quantity of points. We do this because Geo SCADA can scale from 250 points in steps all the way to over a million points in one server. We bundle in most drivers such as DNP3, OPC-DA Server, SCADAPack, RealFlo, and more.Geo SCADA Expert clients are licensed individually and in bundles for the full windows client ViewX and the web client Virtual ViewX. We do this because Geo SCADA can scale to hundreds of clients.The Geo SCADA architecture can include up to six synchronized servers per database, and multiple databases per system. Two and three-way redundancy are supported. Each server requires a license.There are license options for adding Crystal Reports, and some specific drivers, but most communications drivers are bundled into the Geo SCADA server licenses.Geo SCADA server licenses include the features for the built-in historian, alarm system, alarm redirection to messaging, external SQL access and OPC UA and many more.Licenses can be issued as USB dongles or machine-locked files. There are separate part numbers for these types.The new Gateway licensing options provide a lower cost license for servers from 300, 3000 and 30000 point counts and a single local ViewX client. These may be cost-effective for local data aggregation architectures.
