Barbara leads Schneider Electric’s global Industrial Automation Business and has served on the company’s Executive Committee since 2019.
Barbara joined Schneider Electric in 2016 as Country President of Germany, and expanded her scope to Zone President of DACH in 2017 (including Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In 2019, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Europe Operations and a member of the Executive Committee.Â
Barbara started her career as a development project manager for motors and drives at ABB Schweiz AG. She held various senior management positions in the ABB Group, including regional responsibility as Country Manager Czech Republic, Regional Manager for the Mediterranean in Italy, and leadership of the worldwide drives business.
Barbara holds a PhD in Electrical Machines from ETH Zurich, and an MBA from IMD Lausanne.

Caspar Herzberg has been Chief Executive Officer of AVEVA since March 2023 and is a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee. Before becoming CEO, he served as AVEVA’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. He previously led Schneider Electric’s business in more than 80 countries as President, Middle East & Africa, and has spent more than 25 years in the technology industry, including senior leadership positions at Cisco and Accenture. He is also an experienced military officer, having achieved the rank of Major (Reserve) in the German Federal Armed Forces.
Caspar is the author of Smart Cities, Digital Nations and holds an MSc in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a BA in Arabic & Modern Middle Eastern Studies from St. Anne’s College, University of Oxford. Based in London, he speaks English, German, Arabic and French.Â

Charise is Chief Human Resource Officer of Schneider Electric and member of the Executive Committee since April 1, 2020.
In 2005 she was appointed Human Resources Manager China for Clipsal, an associated brand of Schneider Electric. Then, she joined Schneider Electric in 2007 as Human Resources Director for Schneider Asia Pacific region. In the last 15 years, Charise has held different HR positions within the Group. Since 2015 Charise has been leading the HR Strategy & Global Service of the Group.
Charise started her career in 1995 and began at Siemens as an HR Specialist and continued to move through different HR positions in companies such as General Electric and Pillsbury China.
Charise graduated from East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai).
