But, there is a key area that has been overlooked- and that is the people in the buildings.
Here are some numbers to consider:
• 90% of a building’s costs come from the people inside the buildings
• There is a 10% drop in employee performance workplace with poor air quality and too-warm temperatures
• Attracting and retaining talent is critical as it will cost 33% of a person’s annual salary to replace them
• 40% of the service workforce will retire by 2020
