Windows XP - How to find your computers comm ports for firmware update

Issue:
Customer needs to find computer comm ports for firmware update.

Resolution
WINDOWS XP Display Interface

1. Click the START in the lower left corner
2. Go to Settings
3. Click on Control Panel

4. Open the System folder

5. Click Hardware in the tabs then click the Device Manager toward the middle

6. Click the [+] next to Ports and look for USB to Serial Cable

Note: Another way is to find My Computer on your desktop and right click. Open Manage and look for Device Manager on the left side then Device Manager. See picture below.
