What are the causes of the Trip Circuit Fault or CB Control Fault on a SEPAM relay and how may it be cleared?

Issue
A trip circuit fault is displayed on the front face of the SEPAM.

Product Line
SEPAM 20, 40, 50, 80

Environment
SEPAM programming

Cause
The trip circuit fault on a SEPAM relay is caused by:
1. Circuit breaker control is enabled but the contacts I11 and I12 are not connected, or are connected incorrectly.
2. Circuit breaker control is enabled but the contacts I11 and I12 don't transfer within 200ms.
3. Circuit breaker control is disable but contacts I11 and I12 are assigned to the open and closed status from the breaker.
Note: If SEPAM 80 Series is being used I11 = I101 and I12 = I102.

Resolution
To correct the issue, connect to the relay using SFT2841 then:
Case 1. Wire the breaker status contacts to I11 and I12 or wire these contacts correctly.
Case 2. Go to the program logic screen in SFT2841 and reassign I11 and I12 to either customized use if they are being used, or to not used if the contacts are not wired

Note: Until the fault has been cleared, the relay will continue to show the Trip Circuit Fault on the front display.
To clear the fault from the front display, do the following:
1. Press the Alarm button.
2. Press the Enter key.
3. Press the Clear button to clear the fault.
