This document is created to explain the minimum configuration for integrating Momentum I/O platform in PES.

Facts and Changes

This document has been prepared in PES Version 4.1 however same can be used in the newer versions on PES as the configuration have not been changes in latest version of PES.

Causes and Fixes

The purpose of this document is to show how to integrate Modicon Momentum legacy I/O platform into PES system and architecture.
This document focuses especially on brown-field plants, where existing Momentum platforms may require integration in PES. The preferred communication technologies analyzed are Profibus DP and Modbus TCP / IP.
Some resources used for the development of the document (user manuals, Profibus GSD file, PES template) are attached in a zip archive.
