Issue:

Product Design Features

Product Line:
Heavy Dutye Safety Switch

Cause:
Terminal lug data

Resolution:
HDSS = Heavy Duty Safety Switches

The 200amp Heavy Duty Safety Switches will accept as standard (1) #6 AWG - 250 kcmil aluminum or copper conductors per phase. The Lug conductor(or wire) temperature rating is 75 degree C.
With the following exceptions:
The H225XJG and H225XJGAA will ONLY use 75 degree Copper wire and accept (1) #3 AWG - 350Kcmil. These are NOT UL listed due to inadequate wire bending space (5" for ON end and 6" for OFF end)

NOTES:
1) There is a Double lug kit available for the 200amp HDSS, BUT it is NOT UL Listed, NOT CSA Listed and is not listed on the switches wiring diagram. It is ONLY for the LOAD side and cannot be used on the LINE Side of the switches. The Lug kit will allow for (2) #6 - 300kcmil AL/CU wires Per Phase and Neutral. The kit part number must be purchased separately for Field installation only. The kit part number is AL20DTF. The Kit contains 3 Lugs

2) The only UL listed alternate lugs are compression lugs, BUT they do NOT change the size or quantity of the standard wires mentioned above.
