What is the AIC rating of the bussing provided in all panelboards?

Panelboard bussing does not carry an AIC rating. The overall AIC rating of the equipment is determined by the circuit breakers installed. The overall AIC rating of the panelboard cannot exceed AIC rating of the lowest rated branch breaker unless a series rating can be applied.
Example: Fully rated panel with 65KAIC branches selected for series rating downstream panels. There is also one branch breaker rated 10KAIC. The panel will be rated 10KAIC.
