NEMA ratings for Ventilated Low Voltage Transformers

Cause:
NEMA ratings are applied to Transformer enclosures

Resolution:
Square D/Schneider Electric's EE type Single Phase Ventilated Low Voltage dry type Distribution Transfomers (enclosures with a D in the enclosure number) have a NEMA 2 (drip proof) indoor rating.  Square D/Schneider Electric's EX type Three Phase  Ventilated Low Voltage dry type Distribution Transfomers (enclosures with a K or J in the enclosure number) have a NEMA 1 rating, but can be upgraded to NEMA 2 by adding an accessory Drip Shield catalog number 7400DS***, where the *** is the enclosure number and type.  Example:  7400DS18K, 7400DS25J, etc.  The newest EXN Transformers feature NEMA 2 enclosures.
