These switches accept class H or K fuses as standard. These are for use on systems with up to 10 kA available fault current. Alternative options include class R fuses (with class R fuse kit QMB4060R installed) and class J fuses (field relocate the fuse base assembly to alternate position marked in the enclosure). These are for use on systems with up to 200 kA available fault current.
NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability, and will void the warranty.
