Resolution:
Yes, it is rated for NEMA 3R or NEMA 12 applications. This also includes the newer VH/VHU safety switches.

The ratings are noted on the device wiring diagram. The statement "When this switch is used in an outdoor application, remove drain screw in bottom endwall and discard" is also noted on device wiring diagram.
NOTE: This information is not valid for a NEMA 12K safety switch (A suffix).
