Cause:
Non Ventilated type Transformers have no vent openings that need to be covered by a weathershield

Resolution:

The style E Non Ventilated Transformers ending in NV are automatically rated NEMA 3R, and do not require weathershields to be able to be used outdoors like Ventilated Transformers do. Weathershields cover the Vents on Ventilated Transformers. Non Ventilated Transformers have no vents to cover using weathershields.
