Can the instantaneous function on Powerpact P, R, and Masterpact NT and NW be disabled?

Resolution:
The instantaneous setting can be turned OFF if the breaker has the short time function (5.0 or 6.0 trip unit). BUT there is an instantaneous override function which will trip the breaker instantaneously on a high level fault in order to protect the breaker from damage. See attachment for override values.
