Will a 4-pole TeSys LC1D09 amp through 38 amp contactor mate up with a 3-pole LRD overload relay?
Issue:
3-pole LRD overload relay for a 4 pole LC1D09 amp through 38 amp contactor

IEC TeSys D Contactors and Overloads
Cause:
Overload for a 4 pole LC1D09 through 38 contactors
Resolution:
No it will not. The 4-pole contactor`s load connections are spaced closer together than the 3 pole. The overload relay will have to be separately mounted.
