Issue:
9421FN1 replacement handles
Product Line:
Operating Mechanisms and Disconnect Switches
Environment:
Class 9421 Type L Circuit Breaker Mechanism
Cause:
Replacement parts
Resolution:
Current replacement operating mechanism will be a Class 9421 Type L operating mechanism depending on the old mounting depth:
Class 9421 LN1
Class 9421 LN3
Class 9421 LN4
NOTE: The customer will be forced to drill new holes in the door in order to mount the new handle because the shaft location relative to the old shaft position will be different.
A steel cover plate large enough to cover up the old handle mounting holes and provide a base for the new handle is strongly suggested. The new handle will not cover up all the old handle holes.
Detailed handle dimensional comparison between the old Type F and new Type L operating mechanism is available upon request by contacting the Customer Information Center at 1-888-SQUARED.
