Does SquareD/Schneider Electric make a 3 phase Transformer with a neutral on the primary input side?

Issue:
Most three phase Transformers have Delta primaries, with no neutral

Product Line:
LV Transformers

Environment:
Applies to LV Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric

Cause:
Delta Primaries are inherently more stable

Resolution:

SquareD/Schneider Electric provides Wye primary on Delta secondary with center tap Transformers (T151 voltage code). The primary of this unit does not provide a terminal for a neutral. Connecting the primary of a Transformer to the neutral point of a Wye system can cause troublesome neutral currents during times of imbalance.  Generally,  it is best to select a Delta primary for most 3 phase applications, even when connecting to a Wye power system. Other custom Wye primary Transformers may also be available for Solar and Alternative Energy applications.  Inquire about these with your local SquareD/Schneider Electric Distributors and Field Offices.
