Product Line:
IEC Contactors - GIC Product

Environment:
US Product

Cause:
Product Characteristics

Resolution:
This holds the contacts in that contactor stationary to protect the interlock mechanism from possible damage during transit. If the reversing unit should take a hard impact, the interlock pin could be sheared off from both sets of contacts trying to close at the same time.
