Can a QO generator panel be used as a sub panel by using only one circuit breaker as the main and ignoring the generator connection?
This unit could be used as a sub panel, but may not pass inspection because it is labeled as an actual generator panel. The label states it is to be fed by a dual power supply, and may have to be connected as such. This depends on the discretion of the local inspector.
