LV Transformers

Resolution:
Harmonic Mitigating Transformers are special types of Transformers that use phase shifting, electromagnetic flux, and source impedance to help reduce harmonics in electrical distribution systems.  They are primarily used in certain applications which have a large portion of Harmonic Energy generating loads such as electronic equipment containing switching power supplies and the like, which can contribute to overheating and damage to conventional Transformers.  HMTs are designed to withstand and mitigate such effects.
