What do green or gray handles indicate on QO breakers?

Resolution:
The green handle indicated that the breaker had a 10 kAIC rating at 120/240 V at a time when the standard black handle was rated for 5 kAIC.
The gray handle indicated that the breaker had a 65 kAIC rating.
Now all handles are black, regardless of AIC rating.
