Resolution:
Yes, the enclosure backpan is pre-drilled to accept a control power transformer. Please note that the National Electrical Code requires (2) primary fuses in all control transformer applications. These fuses can be furnished in the starter by ordering a 9999 SFR4 fuse holder, which may be mounted either directly to the contactor or panel mounted. Additionally, if a single secondary fuse is desired, order a 9080PF1 fuse holder.

Listed below is the standard capacity and what other control power transformer(s) may be installed in the standard enclosure:

Size 0 - Type SB - 100 VA (will also accept 150 VA or 200 VA)
Size 1 - Type SC - 100 VA (will also accept 150 VA or 200 VA)
Size 2 - Type SD - 100 VA (will also accept 150 VA or 200 VA)
Size 3 - Type SE - 150 VA (will also accept 200VA 300 VA or 500 VA)
Size 4 - Type SF - 300 VA (will also accept 500 VA)

Size 5 - Type SG - 100 VA (will also accept 150 VA, or 300 VA)
NOTE: Size 5 also requires 8501XO20 control relay and wired whereas contactor is controlled at line voltage and CPT controls relay.

Size 6 - Type SH - 9070EO3S2 is supplied as standard. Additional capacity can be obtained by installing 100 VA or 200 VA CPT)
Size 7 - Type SJ - 9070EO3S2 is supplied as standard. Additional capacity can be obtained by installing  100 VA or 200 VA CPT)
