Is there room to field install a Class 9070 Type T control power transformer in the Class 8539 and 8538 combination starters?

Issue:
Are control power transformers available for Class 8538/8539 combination starters?

Product Line:
8538 & 8539 Combination Starters

Environment:
US Product Lines

Resolution:
Yes, the enclosure backpan is pre-drilled to accept a control power transformer. Please note that the National Electrical Code requires (2) primary fuses in all control transformer applications. These fuses can be furnished in the starter by ordering a 9999 SFR4 fuse holder, which may be mounted either directly to the contactor or panel mounted. Additionally, if a single secondary fuse is desired, order a 9080PF1 fuse holder.

Listed below is the standard capacity and what other control power transformer(s) may be installed in the standard enclosure:

Size 0 - Type SB - 100 VA (will also accept 150 VA or 200 VA)
