1) Determine if the CSED is designed for branch breaker provisions and what type, QO or HOM(SEE FA241542 or see the bullets a) thru d) right below.)
a) CSED devices up to 225amp Maximum that CONTAIN branch breaker provisions and would use HOM(Homeline) branch breakers are as follows:
All the catalog numbers beginning with prefixes of RC, SC, SO and SU
b) CSED devices up to 225amp Maximum that CONTAIN branch breaker provisions and would use QO branch breakers are as follows:
All the catalog numbers beginning with prefix of QC,
c) CSED Devices rated 300 or 400amp Maximum that CONTAIN branch breaker provisions and that use HOM(Homeline) branch breakers are as follows:
All the catalog numbers beginning with prefixes of RU and SU
d) CSED devices rated 300 or 400amp Maximum that CONTAIN branch breaker provisions and that use QO branch breakers are as follows:
All the catalog numbers beginning with prefixes of CU and QU.
NOTE: SOME OF THE CSED CATALOG NUMBERS DO NOT HAVE PROVISIONS FOR BRANCH BREAKERS. THEREFORE, WOULD NOT USE Branch Breakers. SEE CURRENT DIGEST FOR THESE SPECIFIC CATALOG NUMBERS.
