9065SFB20, can they still get a series C? They received a Series D but it does not have provisions to add an extra contact like the series C device does.

No, the Series C is no longer available. The Series D has a black cover over the same location where the extra contacts go. They may need to use an exact blade to remove the sticker they now use to cover that space. The LED and connector on the side are also gone.
