Cause:
Requirement for a 200A/2P (or 150A/2P or 175A/2P) branch breaker in an NQ panelboard.

Resolution:
Yes QO2200(VH), QO2150(VH) or QO2175(VH) breakers can be used in single phase, NEMA 1, 400A and 600A NQ panelboards. Each breaker takes four pole spaces. Installation into three (3) phase interiors is not allowed as it may create a phase to phase short circuit.

• Only maximum of four (4) 150, 175 and 200A breakers can be installed in NEMA 1 enclosures. It will also require three-point latch trim fronts (NCxxV( )3P).
