Resolution:
Square D NQ, NF, I-Line and QMB panelboards meet the seismic requirements of ICBO 2000 when the following guidelines are met:

Bolt-on circuit breakers are required on NQ and NF panelboards.
Boxes must be secured to wall/structure by utilizing all mounting holes provided in box and secured with grade 2 steel bolts sized per the mounting holes.

"The seismic provisions of the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) requires strenuous shaker table testing for panelboards. The new NQ panelboard successfully completed this testing without any structural damage, while retaining electrical continuity."
