Issue:
Several lighting contactors are shown in the catalog that are available to be built into Square D panelboards. What is the difference between the Square D and the ASCO offering?

Cause:
Selecting a lighting contactor for a panelboard

Resolution:
Either type of contactor can be ordered interchangeably at the customer`s discretion. If the facility normally uses Square D products, they may want to be consistent and use the Square D contactors. This would simplify spare parts stocking, etc. Otherwise they can specify the Asco contactors.
